Sakura Daifuku/ Cherry blossom Mochi (vegan, gluten free)
October.26,2022Just mix the ingredients in a bowl and put it in the microwave.
Let’s cook delicious mochi easily and quickly.
Ingredients (4pc of Mochi)
- Mochi flour (sticky rice flour) 100g
- Sugar 40g
- Water 100g
- Sweet Sakura Tea Cherry blossoms 2g (half of one sachet*) *use flowers only(2g in a sachet) if prefering more beautiful appearance.
- Bean paste or cream. For 4 sticky rice cakes up to your taste.
How to cook?
1. sieve Mochi flour & sugar into a bowl, add water, then mix.
2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and heat it in the microwave (600W) for 2 min.
3. Mix with a spatula.
4. Heat again in the microwave(600W) for 1 min 30 sec.
5. Stir until it becomes clear.
6. Add the Sweet Sakura Tea Cherry blossoms and stir. Mochi dough is ready!
Divide the dough into 4, and wrap the bean paste (or cream).
To prevent from sticking to your hands, use Joshinko (rice flour) or cornstarch.
